Colonosocpy is a medical term consists of 2 words: colono means colon or large intestine. Scopy is ‘look into’. So colonoscopy is a method that the expert can observe the condition of bowel from the inside. This method uses a tool called colonoscope: it is a long 1 cm diameter flexible pipe with a camera at the end of the pipe. It is connected to the TV monitor.
